ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - A busy day of basketball is on tap for Friday at the UCF Arena. After posting a win over local rival Stetson Thursday, the UCF men's basketball team will host Rhode Island at 7 p.m. in the UCF Holiday Classic title game.
The Knights have won 18-straight non-conference games at the arena and will be meeting the Rams for the second time in less than a year. On Thursday, Marcus Jordan totaled a game-high 26 points vs. Stetson and Isaiah Sykes added 20 points and nine boards in the win.
Before the Knights meet Rhode Island, the women's team will host Florida State at 4:30 p.m. All fans who purchase tickets to see UCF play Rhode Island will receive free admission to the women's contest.
The evening will conclude with the UCF Holiday Classic consolation game at 9:30 p.m. when Stetson meets James Madison.
Tickets are available for purchase Friday outside the arena at the box office. Tickets start at $10.
