ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Week 15 of the NFL season is in the books and several former Knights are in the final stretch of helping their teams clinch playoff berths. Already having punched their ticket to the playoffs, Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Josh Sitton and San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller are both division champions and are looking for more to close out the regular season.
Also searching for a division title, Matt Prater has delivered one important field goal after another for Denver as the Broncos are one game up on the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers in the AFC West. This year he is 18-for-24, including a recent 3-for-3 performance at San Diego, a 2-for-2 effort at Minnesota and his memorable 59-yarder against Chicago to send the game into overtime as well as a 51-yarder in the extra session to down the Bears, 13-10, Dec. 11.
And this past weekend, wide receiver Brandon Marshall went over the 1,000-yard mark for the fifth-straight season when he posted three receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown in a 30-23 victory at Buffalo.
