ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF's women's tennis team will be playing in its final tournament of the fall semester as the Knights travel to Tampa to play in the USF Fall Tennis Classic this weekend. UCF, along with Florida State, Florida and USF will be competing in the tournament.
Going into the USF Tournament, UCF holds a 16-14 record in singles play while totaling a 9-8 mark in doubles matches. Taylor Dubins is 3-0 in singles while holding a record of 4-1 in doubles with partner Andrea Yacaman. Watch for Dubins to have a big tournament against some of the top schools from the state of Florida.
The Knights start out on Friday against UF in doubles play, while playing USF in singles. Saturday pits the Black and Gold against USF in doubles and FSU in singles. Sunday wraps up action for the Knights as they face UF in doubles while facing UF in singles. The matches begin at 10 a.m. each day with a 10-minute break after every doubles session before the start of singles play.
The USF Fall Tennis Classic will be held at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts on the campus of South Florida.
