Nov. 15: Coming off of a tough split in Memphis we had worked hard all week in practice in hopes to sweep the next weekend. This past weekend came up with two great wins for UCF volleyball. We opened the weekend on Friday night with a rematch against Marshall and a chance to prove ourselves. Friday night's match was one of the most intense matches we have played all season. The long five-game match ended in a great win for UCF volleyball against a good Marshall team. Both teams gave it everything and laid it all on the floor. I was very proud of our team showing the heart to pull through and win that fifth set.
Sunday was also a good match for the Knights playing the ECU Pirates. We started off a little slow and lost the first set to ECU, but instead of folding, we fought back and came out with a great four game win. This weekend was clutch for us going into our long rode trip versus Tulsa, SMU, and UTEP. They were two good wins to send us off for the last conference games of the season.
