ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Equipped with the highest national ranking in program history, the No. 6 UCF men's soccer team will return to action Saturday at home against South Carolina. The Conference USA contest at the UCF Soccer Complex is set to begin at 4 p.m., and admission is free.

The Knights (8-1-1, 2-0 C-USA) opened league play last week by recording victories over a pair of nationally ranked teams. UCF rallied for a 2-1 overtime triumph over Kentucky in Orlando to begin the week. The Wildcats were ranked 21st by the NSCAA at the time. The Knights then headed to Dallas where they rolled to a 4-2 win over SMU, who was ranked No. 21 by Soccer America.

After the two wins, UCF moved from 10th to No. 6 in the Soccer America Top 25.

UCF sophomore McKauly Tulloch (Kingston, Jamaica) registered three goals and an assist last week and was named the College Soccer News National Player of the Week in addition to garnering C-USA Offensive Player of the Week honors. He has 12 goals in only eight contests this year and leads the nation in three categories: points per game (3.38), goals per game (1.50) and total goals (12).

South Carolina is 5-4-1 overall and 3-0 in league action. The Gamecocks have won four-straight contests, including a 1-0 triumph at UAB Tuesday.

Last year, UCF and South Carolina played to a 1-1 draw in Columbia. The Gamecocks were ranked 20th in the country at the time. Since UCF joined C-USA, the Gamecocks have a 3-0-3 edge in the series with the Knights.

After the match, fans can head over to Bright House Networks Stadium to watch the UCF football team host Marshall for the Knights' UKNIGHT in PINK game. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Gold Zone parking is in effect for the football game, and fans attending the soccer match can park in the free Red and Blue Zones on campus.
