With the first official day of practice just around the corner, members of the women's basketball team are taking a break from their busy schedules to provide a glimpse into their lives. In this Q&A installment, senior guard Aisha Patrick talks about her basketball idol and the most played song on her iPod.
If you could switch places with someone for a day, who would it be?
Maya Moore. I just want to know her work ethic. They always talk about how she works hard in everything she does and I just want to know how she approaches the game.
So then are you rooting for Minnesota in the WNBA finals?
Not necessarily. I'm just team Maya Moore.
What are the TV shows you can't stop watching?
Basketball Wives, Bad Girls Club, Criminal Minds, The First 48, shows like that.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
My freshman year here winning conference. I had never gotten a ring before that.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can draw a little bit. But I don't think there's much hidden about me.
What is the food or drink that you have to have stocked in your refrigerator?
I have to have Voila! pasta dishes. You can just put them on the stove for 10 minutes. They are quick and easy and they're so good. The garlic chicken kind. For a drink, Minute Maid fruit punch.
What is the most played song on your iPod?
Lil Wayne's "She Will."
