ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With only two regular-season games remaining, the No. 9 UCF men's soccer team will return to action Tuesday against visiting No. 25 South Carolina. The Conference USA match at the UCF Soccer Complex will begin at 4 p.m.

The contest was originally scheduled for Oct. 8, but was postponed when heavy rains made the field unplayable.

UCF (9-3-3, 3-2-1 C-USA) is seeking its 10th victory of the season. UCF won 12 contests a year ago under head coach Bryan Cunningham, and the program is seeking its first back-to-back 10-victory seasons since joining C-USA in 2005.

The Knights are 5-1-0 at home in 2011.

South Carolina is 8-6-1 overall and 5-1-0 in C-USA play. The Gamecocks have won three of their last four contests.

Tickets for the contest will be available outside the UCF Soccer Complex prior to the match Tuesday.

The Knights will be playing their third contest in less than a week when they face South Carolina. UCF has been receiving great play of late from junior Nik Robson (Bucklands Beach, New Zealand). Robson totaled four goals in UCF's last three games, including a score during Saturday's 3-2 defeat at host Memphis.

Last year, UCF and South Carolina played to a 1-1 draw in Columbia. The Gamecocks were ranked 20th in the country at the time. Since UCF joined C-USA, the Gamecocks have a 3-0-3 edge in the series with the Knights.

UCF will close the regular season on Saturday at 7 p.m. against Marshall in Orlando.

The C-USA Championship will be held in Tulsa, Okla., and is slated to begin on Nov. 9.
