BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF has settled down in Alabama for its Thursday-night tussle with UAB. The game will kickoff at 8 p.m. ET and air live on CSS and Bright House Sports Network.
Holding a 3-3 record and a 1-1 mark in Conference USA, UCF enters the meeting with UAB (0-6, 0-3) after posting 459 yards of total offense against SMU. That was highlighted by 349 passing yards, which were the most in a game since 2003 vs. Miami (Ohio). The Black and Gold also claims a top-10 defense as it ranks third in total defense and ninth in scoring defense.
The Knights own a 7-1 all-time record against the Blazers, including a 4-0 mark in Birmingham. The Black and Gold has scored at least 27 points in all four trips to Legion Field.
UAB averages 313.3 yards of offense per game and is plus-2 in turnover margin. Its three conference losses this year have come at the hands of Tulane, East Carolina and Tulsa.
UCF football mini-plans for the three remaining home games can still be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
