ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF baseball team conducted its annual scout day in front of 25 Major League Baseball scouts Tuesday afternoon at the UCF baseball complex. Players showcased their talents in the field, on the mound and in the batters box.

Those Knights who partook in Tuesday's showcase flashed their speed in the 60-yard dash, worked in a pro-style fielding session, took batting practice and also had a 5.5 inning intrasquad scrimmage.

UCF is three weeks into fall workouts, and will conclude the month training period with the Black and Gold World Series set for Oct. 26-28. The final game on the three-day event will take place Friday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m. as a part of UCF's Homecoming weekend. Admission to all fans for each game is free.
