ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Bright House Networks Stadium has experienced almost a month without a touchdown scored, a whistle blown and a packed environment of screaming Black and Gold fans. That finally changes Saturday, Oct. 8, when UCF hosts Marshall at 7 p.m., and the Knights have announced a special UKNIGHT in PINK ticket offer that will only be available for a limited time.

To take advantage of this unique deal, call the UCF Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000 or visit Ticketmaster.com. For only $20, you will receive a ticket to the game and a voucher for an exclusive pink "PATCH" which can be redeemed at the UCF marketing kiosk between gates 2-5. A portion of the proceeds will go back to the Central Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

The UKNIGHT in PINK campaign is bringing together the Central Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, UCF Athletics and the entire community in support of Susan G. Komen's mission - to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

Sponsored by Florida Hospital, the game will be UCF's first Conference USA contest of the 2011 season. Marshall (1-3) already boasts a 1-0 record in the league standings thanks to a victory over Southern Miss, however the Knights (2-2) have won six-straight meetings with the Thundering Herd and are the defending C-USA champions.

The 2011 Central Florida Race for the Cure at Bright House Networks Stadium Oct. 16 is a part of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series, the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world. The event raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, while celebrating breast cancer survivorship and honoring those who have lost their battle with the disease. Since its inception in 1983, the Komen Race for the Cure series has grown from one local Race with 800 participants in Dallas to a global series of more than 140 Races with more than 1.6 million people participating on four continents.
