ORLANDO, Fla.(UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's tennis team will square off in its first tournament of the 2011 fall season Friday in the annual UCF Quad Tournament. Concluding on Sunday, UCF will face USF in doubles while rounding out with Stetson in singles play. In all, the Knights will be playing each team in both singles and doubles matches.

Head coach Stephanie Nickitas commented on the tournament and how she thinks it'll benefit her team. "We are just looking forward to competing and seeing where we are at," said Nickitas. "It's going to be a highly competitive tournament with very strong teams so it will be a nice gauge to see what we need to continue to work on."

Friday and Saturday's matches begin at 10 a.m., while Sunday's will start at 9 a.m. There will be a 10 minute-break following doubles. The UCF Tennis Complex is located next to the Recreation and Wellness Center on campus. Admission is free, so be sure to cheer on the Knights throughout the quad tournament.
