Sept. 14:Heading into this past weekend we were feeling the success of the FGCU tournament, but also some pressure to continue winning. This is the kind of pressure we have wanted to feel for three years now. We know what it feels like to play at a high level. It's important to keep up this level of play as we head into conference.

UNC Greensboro is always a fun match to play. The last two years we have been down two sets and come back and won in five; so they have a bit of a chip on their shoulder with us. It's awesome to see how much we have progressed in the last two years because we swept them in three without hesitation this year.

Pitt was such a fun game of volleyball to play. Anytime you have the VolleyBowl, and that many people there, it makes it very exciting. They are a good team and it felt good just to play our game and come out on top.

FAU wasn't as competitive as we would have hoped but we got to work on different people playing different positions. Kudos to Nichole for playing right side and Ashley coming in and not missing a beat. It's exciting to see the kind of depth that we have as a team.

And of course we have the in state rivalry against USF. They are always a frustrating team to play and we knew that going in. Despite that, I respect that they always bring it when they play us. A lack of execution on our part gave them the win. If they are going to celebrate like that after they beat us then I'm thinking we must be a pretty good team to beat. :)
