ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - News and notes from the UCF football team for Monday, Aug. 8. Today marks the first practice with full pads for the Knights, and it starts up at 3:20 p.m.

-During Sunday's practice, sophomore Jordan McCray continued to look strong at left guard. McCray, who has been playing alongside brothers Cliff and Justin, was a member of the C-USA All-Freshman Team last year.
-While quarterback Jeff Godfrey has been busy reading the defense at a rapid pace, he also hit receiver Khymest Williams on a pair of perfect routes during the day. And the connection between backup QB Blake Bortles and receiver Josh Reese also got the fans' attention on the practice field.
-Junior cornerback/punt returner Josh Robinson earned a spot on the Paul Hornung Award Watch List, which is given out to the nation's most versatile player. Robinson now has a spot on five preseason watch lists.
