ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - One week before the UCF men's basketball team departs for an exhibition tour of Canada, four members of the squad gave back to the community by assisting children at the Boys & Girls Club Parramore Branch in downtown Orlando. The Knights worked with youngsters, helping them achieve portions of the President's Physical Fitness Challenge.
Tristan Spurlock, Rod Days, Kasey Wilson and Bobby Horodyski spent time at the Jackson Center. Spurlock supervised the push-up station, Days worked with youngsters doing sit-ups, Wilson manned the curl-up station and Horodyski supervised the shuttle run.
The Knights worked with over 40 elementary and middle school students.
On Aug. 10, Spurlock, Days, Wilson and Horodyski will join their teammates as UCF heads to Canada for three exhibition games. The Knights will compete in Montreal and Ottawa.
