ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - News and notes from the UCF football team for Thursday, Aug. 25. After a day off, the Knights will be back on the practice fields today.
News
-UCFAthletics.com will be releasing several details regarding gameday parking, purchasing parking passes, mini-plans and gameday tram service very soon.
-Conference USA introduced its 2011 Digital Football Magazine Wednesday. The 44-page interactive publication includes video interviews from all 12 teams, highlighted by clips from UCF head coach George O'Leary and senior defensive end Darius Nall, which were shot during C-USA Media Day July 31 in Memphis. -Joined the Knights for the 2010 season and redshirted as a true freshman.
-Watched as high school teammate Jeff Godfrey guided UCF to the C-USA title and an AutoZone Liberty Bowl victory last year.
-The Godfrey-to-Reese combination may evolve once again in 2011 as Reese's performance during the preseason could allow him to be one of Godfrey's top targets.
-With Godfrey under center at Miami Central High School, Reese caught 43 balls for 820 yards and eight touchdowns, guiding their team to a 12-2 record when they were seniors.
Stat of the Day
-While UCF has an intimidating rushing attack, Boston College, the Knights' second opponent of 2011, finished 2010 ranked first in the country in rushing defense.
What to Look For
-Fans are invited to come out to the next PATCH Party at The Barn in Sanford tonight from 10 p.m. to midnight.
-Meanwhile on Friday, Ember in downtown Orlando will host a PATCH Party from 6-8 p.m.

UCF football season ticket packages can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
