ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - News and notes from the UCF football team for Saturday, Aug. 20. An eventful week concludes with FanFest today beginning with the team photo inside Bright House Networks Stadium at 4:30 p.m.
News
-UCF will hold its final open practice for fans today from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
-Details for today: The Knights will stage a team photo shoot inside the stadium at 4:30 p.m. Once the 2011 Knights complete their own team photo, fans in attendance will be directed to surround the team for the UKNIGHT SALUTE. The photo will be available for a free download at UCFAthletics.com. The football team will then hold their annual FanFest Autograph Team Session from the west concourse of Bright House Networks Stadium from 5-6:15 p.m.
-FanFest parking is available in the grass lots East and Southeast of the stadium.
-During Friday's practice, the Knights ended the session one hour early, but not before Brynn Harvey's legs took advantage of a hole opened up by the offensive line for a long run, prompting the defense to scream at each other, "pick it up."

-Expected to receive an expanded role this year and has stepped up this past week during preseason camp as one of quarterback Jeff Godfrey's primary targets.
-After playing three games as a true freshman in 2009, saw time in the first 10 games of 2010 before missing the final four.
-Will be looking for his first-career reception in 2011. Has one tackle and kick return through two seasons as a Knight (redshirted in 2009).
Stat of the Day
-During UCF's four-game winning streak to end the 2010 campaign, the Knights forced six fumbles and recorded seven interceptions.
What to Look For
-UCF is scheduled to practice for the final time before school starts as the session will take place Sunday from 3-4 p.m.
-It's move-in weekend, so if you're traveling to campus give yourself some extra time to maneuver through traffic.

Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
