ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On one side sat a mighty defense, thirsty for more bone-crushing hits and determined to repeat as the stingiest group in Conference USA. On the other side, a clever offense gathered with thoughts of touchdowns dancing in their minds.
Following an intense scrimmage Saturday morning, UCF's offense and defense were on opposite sides yet again in the afternoon. But this time the Knights' happily settled down to enjoy one of the most memorable events on campus as waves of UCF fans flocked to Bright House Networks Stadium for 2011 FanFest.
With the defense nestled on the right side of the concourse and the offense convening on the left, fans scooped up posters and footballs to have signed by the entire Knights roster, including head coach George O'Leary. Prior to the autograph session, UCF conducted its annual team photo, and several fans then were allowed to join in as well. UCF football season ticket packages can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
