UKNIGHT and Get The "PATCH" Player Interview
#4 - Rob Calabrese, WR/QB
On his season-ending injury...
"When I was making my cut I heard a pop so I was nervous and scared. But I finally got it checked out and the doctor said it was the ACL so I'm highly disappointed. I really wanted to get out there and help this team win this year."

On having a redshirt year available...
"That decision will be made later on. I've been talking to my family, coaches and the doctors, so now I'm hopeful to do what I did last year and that's to try and help this team in any way I can, whether it's helping guys on the sideline or just being a motivator out there."

On his progress as a wide receiver before the injury...
"I was doing pretty well and there were still some things I needed to work on, but I felt I was coming on. I thought I could contribute at that position this year."

On his teammates' reactions...
"My teammates are always there for me. They are such great guys, and they are like family to me. Every single one of them came up to me and said they were sorry. It's great to know I have guys and coaches like there here."
