ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the men's and women's soccer and volleyball seasons rapidly approaching, UCF fans will have a great opportunity to secure a spot at every game all season with the new 2011 Gold Pass. For just $75, Knights fans will receive season tickets to both soccer programs as well as volleyball in the fall and every softball game and track & field meet in the spring.
The 2011 Gold Pass is on sale now and can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com, over the phone by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting the Bright House Networks Stadium Ticket Office.
Fans who purchase this package will be treated to some of the best soccer in the country as both the men and women advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2010.
The Knights will also be playing in a newly expanded UCF Soccer Stadium in the fall. The stadium was completed in late April and opened in time for the UCF Twilight track & field meet in early May. With just one event taking place in the new venue since its opening, fans of the Black & Gold will have at least 19 opportunities to come out and support their teams in their new digs in 2011.
The men will play host to 10 home games this season, while the women host nine. The women open the summer slate of games with an exhibition contest against Texas A&M on Saturday, August 13. The men play two exhibition games in August before opening up the regular season home schedule against UMass on Friday, Sept. 2.
In addition to UCF Soccer, fans who purchase the 2011 Gold Pass will have a season pass to all 18 regular season volleyball contests this fall as well. Todd Dagenais and his team will take to the court three times between Aug. 26 and 27 to open the season against South Alabama, Michigan State and North Florida.
