ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On Saturday, Aug. 20, the UCF football team will be holding its annual Football FanFest, which includes the final open practice of the preseason, 2011 team photo shoot, a fan UKNIGHT photo shoot inside Bright House Networks Stadium and a full team autograph session. All events are FREE to the public, as well as FREE parking in Bright House Networks Stadium lots E6 and E7, which are the grass lots on the East side of the facility.
? Practice will now run from 10 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at the UCF Football Practice Field. This will be the final open session fans are able to attend until the Knights rush onto the field on Saturday, Sept. 3, for the 2011 season opener.
? The football team will hold their annual FanFest Autograph Team Session from the west concourse of Bright House Networks Stadium from 5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
? Prior to the autograph session, the Knights will stage a team photo shoot inside the stadium at 4:30 p.m. Once the 2011 Knights complete their own team photo, fans in attendance will be directed to surround the team, forming the largest UKNIGHT SALUTE to-date! The photo will then be available for a FREE download at UCFAthletics.com.
2011 UCF football season ticket packages can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
