ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The month of August always serves as an exciting time on UCF's campus. And UCF Athletics has announced details regarding the Knights' annual FanFest, season ticket mailings and pick-up information, as well as how to purchase single-game tickets.
2011 UCF FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS AND PARKING MAILING
? The UCF Athletics Ticket Office will begin shipment of 2011 UCF football season tickets and parking the week of Aug. 15. The packaging will be shipped via U.S. Postal First Class and are expected to take up to 1-3 days in delivery, depending on location.
2011 UCF FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS AND PARKING PICK-UP OPTIONS
? UCF football season ticket holders can also request to pick-up their season ticket packaging in-person from the Bright House Networks Stadium west side box office, beginning Thursday, Aug. 18.
? All season ticket holders will be receiving an e-mail notice on Aug. 11, alerting them to this in-person pick-up option. Please make sure your proper e-mail account is registered with the UCF Athletics Ticket Office. Season ticket holders can check their account information by logging into https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/home.htmI?l=EN&team=ucf.
? When the e-mail is received, there will be two options.
1. If you want your season tickets to be first-class mailed beginning the week of Aug. 15, no action is required.
2. For the in-person pick-up option, the season ticket holder will be asked to reply to tickets@athletics.ucf.edu, thus notifying the ticket office of their intent to pick up.
2011 UCF FOOTBALL INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS
? Individual game tickets for all of UCF's 2011 regular season home contests will go on-sale to the general public beginning Saturday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. Golden Knights Club members, as part of their benefits, received an e-mail Tuesday, Aug. 9, detailing an exclusive pre-sale window to purchase the best available priority seats in Bright House Networks Stadium. That GKC exclusive pre-sale ends Friday, Aug. 12.
? Tickets for home Conference USA games against Marshall (UKNIGHT in PINK), Memphis (Alumni UKNIGHT/Homecoming), Tulsa (Community UKNIGHT) and UTEP (Future Knights UKNIGHT) start at $25 each. An individual ticket for Boston College (Families UKNIGHT/College Open House) on Sept. 10 starts at $30. The Sept. 3 season-opener versus Charleston Southern (Champions UKNIGHT - "THE PATCH" Parade of Champions) starts at $20. Fans can make individual ticket purchases online at UCFAthletics.com, by calling (407) 823-1000 or by visiting the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at Bright House Networks Stadium.
2011 UCF FOOTBALL FANFEST, SATURDAY, AUG. 20 @ BRIGHT HOUSE NETWORKS STADIUM
? Season ticket holders are encouraged to pick-up their packages from the UCF Athletics Ticket Office on Saturday, Aug. 20, during the team's annual FanFest. That day, the ticket office will be open from 1-6:15 p.m.
? The football team will hold its final public practice of the preseason on Saturday, Aug. 20, starting promptly at 2:30 p.m.
? In addition, the team will taking their annual team photo and joining the fans for a UKNIGHT SALUTE team photo right before the full team autograph session, which is scheduled from 5-6:15 p.m. on the west concourse of Bright House Networks Stadium.
? Once the 2011 Knights complete their own team photo, fans in attendance will be directed to surround the team, forming the largest UKNIGHT SALUTE to-date! The photo will then be available for a FREE download at UCFAthletics.com.
Affordable season ticket packages and great seats can still be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, the game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
