ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - News and notes from the UCF football team for Thursday, July 28.

News (Updated 4:55 p.m.)
-Head coach George O'Leary will be speaking for the Rotary Club of Orlando at the Sorosis Club Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

-Only had seven rushing yards on four carries through the first four games of 2010
-Gradually picked up steam throughout the year, and became the C-USA Championship Game MVP and the AutoZone Liberty Bowl MVP
-Had 146 yards on just 11 carries vs. Tulane, racked up 94 yards and a touchdown (and a receiving score) in the C-USA title game vs. SMU and added 104 yards and the game's lone touchdown in the Liberty Bowl vs. Georgia
-Completed the year with 637 yards on 111 carries for a 5.7 average, while also posting 11 touchdowns
-In two campaigns, has made four starts in 22 games, amassing 769 yards and 14 touchdowns

Stat of the Day
-UCF has won four-straight road games entering 2011 (not including the AutoZone Liberty Bowl), which stands as a school record.

What to Look For
-Tulsa World conducted a preseason order of finish among C-USA media members, and that is scheduled to be released Thursday.
-C-USA also will release information regarding its media day soon. The event will take place this Sunday in Memphis.

Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
