ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - One of the most familiar voices throughout the Orlando area, UCF public address announcer Erik Kohler will be speaking at the Kiwanis Club of Stuart's Fifth-Annual College Football Preview Friday. The event takes place at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.
"I'm extremely excited to represent UCF football," said Kohler. "It's quite an honor to be one of the featured speakers for this wonderful event. And after an amazing 2010, I cannot wait to get back in the public-address booth for my 11th season of UCF football on Sept. 3."
Kohler joins FAU head coach Howard Schnellenberger as well as speakers from Florida State, Florida, Miami and South Florida for the evening's festivities.
The Kiwanis Club of Stuart's mission is "Serving the Children of the World." Proceeds from the College Football Preview will help to continue to fund many projects for children served by the ARC of Martin County, Helping People Succeed, Inc., Boy Scouts and many more.
Tickets to the College Football Preview to benefit charities supported by Kiwanis Club of Stuart are available for $30 and $25 per person at the Lyric Theatre box office and online at www.lyrictheatre.com. For more information, call (772) 320-0770.
UCF football season ticket packages can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
