ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the 2011 UCF volleyball season just around the corner, general admission season tickets are now available for purchase for only $30, while fans interested in sitting courtside for all 18 regular-season matches at The Venue at UCF in 2011 now also have the option of purchasing season tickets for $40.
Another great package offered to Knight fans this season is the Gold Pass . For only $75, the Gold Pass serves as a general admission season ticket for volleyball, men's and women's soccer, softball and track & field for the entire 2011-12 athletic year.
All ticket packages can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) UCF-1000.
The Knights are set to host 18 regular-season matches at The Venue at UCF this season, which includes three tournaments and 10 Conference USA contests.
The Black and Gold opens its 2011 season Aug. 26 when it hosts South Alabama in its first match of the Courtyard by Marriott/UCF Classic. Later that evening the Knights will square-off with Michigan State, before concluding its home event Aug. 27 with a contest against in-state rival North Florida.
The Knights will once again host their annual VolleyBowl match against in-state rival USF on Sept. 11 as part of the Residence Inn/UCF Invitational. The squad will once again attempt to break the program attendance record of 1,603 fans that cheered on the Black and Gold as it battled the Bulls in VolleyBowl II in 2009.
UCF is set to host its first C-USA match of the year Sept. 16 against UTEP during the Towne Place Suites/UCF Challenge, before welcoming the league's top-two teams, SMU and Tulsa, Sept. 23 and Sept. 25, respectively, to The Venue.
Also making the trip to the Sunshine State in league play will be UAB (Oct. 7&8), Tulane (Oct. 21), Houston (Oct. 28), Rice (Oct. 30), Marshall (Nov. 11) and East Carolina (Nov. 13).
