ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Just two years into his UCF tenure, Marcus Jordan is poised to move to the top of the school's career free throws list. As a sophomore this past season, the Chicago native made a UCF record 165 foul shots.

Jordan has connected on 239 career free throws, good for 11th in program history. Dave Noel (2005-08), is 10th with 242. In two seasons, Jordan has attempted 319 foul shots. That mark also ranks 11th on the program career register. Jerry Prather, who starred for the school from 1974-78, is 10th with 325 attempts.

In 2011-12, Jordan has a good chance to move into the top four on the career free throws made list. Jermaine Taylor, who was an All-America selection as a senior in 2008-09, is fourth with 308 makes. Bo Clark (1975-77, 78-80) is first with 456 foul shots.

This past year, Jordan led the Knights and ranked ninth in Conference USA in points per game at 15.2. He shot 77.5 percent at the free-throw line, which was good for 10th in the league. Jordan was selected to the All-C-USA Second Team.
