ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The Athlon Sports' preseason football magazine will soon hit retail locations later this June with its national and regional editions. With the 2011 season approaching, Athlon Sports predicts UCF will finish first in Conference USA's East Division. In the five year period from 2006-10, Athlon Sports led all other preseason football magazines in prediction accuracy.
Six Knights have earned preseason All-C-USA honors in the Athlon preseason prognostication, including defensive lineman Darius Nall, cornerback Josh Robinson, safety Kemal Ishmael and kick returner Quincy McDuffie on the first team. Tight end Adam Nissley and offensive lineman Nick Pieschel were named to the second team.
In addition, the UCF defensive backs unit was deemed best in C-USA.
2011 UCF football season ticket packages can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3 and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
