ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Thanks to a strong fall tournament campaign, UCF freshman Matthew Gladstone (Surfside, Fla.) was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team Thursday, the league office announced. Gladstone won a pair of tournament singles titles during the fall.

In October, he won the Black Draw championship at the UCF Invitational after claiming three victories at the tournament. Gladstone clinched the title with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win over Florida Atlantic's Oliver Webb.

Earlier in the month, he claimed Flight B Singles Blue Draw title at the C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational in Winter Park. He won four matches during the tournament. Gladstone also joined fellow freshman Leonel Vivas (Caracas, Venezuela) for the Flight B Doubles "Gold" Draw championship.

During the fall, the freshman posted an 8-1 singles mark.
