Memorial Day Weekend
Friday, May 27
Today we had the opportunity to put the final touches on our team and I think we are ready! We will definitely be very competitive in this tournament. Today was a special day. We decided we would practice for one session in the morning and spend the afternoon at an Assisted Living residence. We met a woman that was 101 years old. She spoke about all the changes she has seen in her life. It was so inspirational and touching that it brought many of us to tears. When we asked her for words of advice she said, "Keep your mouth shut, listen and believe in you." I don't think it could have been said any better!
Game day tomorrow! LETS GO USA :)

5:20 a.m is when the day began for me and it is so time to go to bed! lol! We played two matches today and we won one and lost one. The players fought hard all day and are ready to get after it tomorrow. We play again tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. and 11:20 a.m., so, yes, that means another 5:20 a.m. day for me. So, good Knight to all :)
Go Knights!

We finished today 1-1. We really turned it on in our final match against a very tough team. The players began to click and played very well. We passed for a very high percentage, played great defense and blocked for high numbers. We all are looking forward to another day of tough competition! Tomorrow its DO OR DIE! .
Off to bed, we have an early morning of watching game film ahead of us!
Good Knight!!!
