ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF men's basketball star Keith Clanton (Orlando, Fla.) will head to the Far East later this month as part of the 2011 Reach USA Cultural Exchange Trip. The junior forward will play on a college all-star team against international squads.

The team is scheduled to play nine games from May 17-30.

Clanton had an impressive sophomore year in 2010-11, helping the Knights win 21 games, enter the national rankings for the first time and earn a spot in the postseason. After averaging 14.2 points and a team-high 7.7 rebounds, he was named to the All-Conference USA Third Team. He ranked sixth in C-USA in rebounds per game, and was third in the league in field goal percentage (52.9). The former Orlando Christian Prep star also averaged 1.6 assists per contest.

His 254 rebounds ranked sixth on the UCF single-season register. Clanton blocked 60 shots, good for second on the school single-season list. At 1.8 blocks per game, he ranked third in C-USA and 68th nationally in the category.

The trip to the Far East is organized by Sports Reach, a Christian ministry based out of Kentucky.
