ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Of the 102 FBS programs that responded to a national survey conducted by the University of Colorado Sports Information office, UCF recorded the fourth-largest spring game attendance among schools associated with BCS non-automatic qualifying conferences.

The Knights, who claimed the 2010 Conference USA Championship title, welcomed a school-record 7,000 fans for this year's spring game, which was held on April 16 at Bright House Networks Stadium. That mark was just behind Utah (15,000), Boise State (14,445) and TCU (7,500). TCU and Utah are presently members of the Mountain West Conference, but the Horned Frogs will soon move to the BIG EAST, and Utah is headed to the PAC-12. Boise State will also be moving from the Western Athletic Conference to the Mountain West.

According to the study, UCF's attendance mark was also larger than 22 schools that hail from BCS automatic qualifying conferences, including five from the BIG EAST, PAC-10 and Big 10; three from the Big 12 and ACC; and one from the SEC.
