ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team concludes the 2011 spring season on Wednesday at 2 p.m., playing Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Knights (9-13) lost a pair of close matches in Denver, Colo., last week. Facing No. 73 Denver on Sunday, the Knights secured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3. Junior Claudio Romano (Valencia, Venezuela) joined freshman Erik Brunskog (Linkoping, Sweden) for an 8-5 triumph at No. 3. At No. 2, junior Eugene Dolgovykh (Palm Coast, Fla.) and freshman Matthew Zachary (Bossier City, Fla.) earned an 8-6 win.

The Eagles (11-6) are currently ranked No. 2 in the NAIA Division II, led by freshman Simon Felix who won his second Sun Conference Player of the Week of the season on Monday.
