ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Fans won't want to miss this year's UKNIGHT Tour, which starts off at 6 p.m. on April 20 on the First Coast at proud UCF supporters, Cadillac of Orange Park (7999 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville 32244).
The all-new UKNIGHT Tour promises to be the best yet, featuring three-time Conference USA Coach of the Year George O'Leary, plus guests from other UCF varsity programs, such as men's basketball coach Donnie Jones and women's basketball coach Joi Williams.
Also meet Joe Bertoletti, Misty Brown and Mike O'Donnell from the Golden Knights Club and Tom Messina and Shaloni Prine from the UCF Alumni Association. In addition, special guests from the College of Engineering and Computer Science, Dean Marwan Simaan and Sara Dillon will be on the UKNIGHT Tour.
Any loyal Knight fan who brings a guest who is presently NOT a member of the Golden Knights Club or a UCF season ticket holder to tour stops will receive a special appreciation gift complements of the GKC. If that guest should join the GKC or purchase 2011 UCF football season tickets, the referring fan can be entered into a grand prize drawing for an all-expense paid bowl trip to wherever the Knights play (excluding Hawaii).
Diehard UCF football fans will want to hear from Coach O'Leary as he reviews the historic 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl championship season, provides insider details on the upcoming 2011 campaign, talks about state of the UCF football program and much more.
Each tour stop will also feature recently released UCF football highlight videos, coverage from the team's historical AutoZone Liberty Bowl victory, autographs, prize raffles, trivia contests, cash bar and free appetizers. The events are slated to begin with a meet and greet, with the evening's program commencing shortly after.
