ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF head women's basketball coach Joi Williams has announced the four different summer camps on the UCF campus set for 2011. The variety of camps offers opportunities for players of all age groups and ability levels to improve on their games in a fun, exciting environment while learning from UCF coaches and players.

The five different camps that Williams will offer include: Position Play Camp (June 11), Team Camp (June 15-18), Fundamental Day Camp (June 20-24) and Scoring and Offensive Play Camp (June 27-29).

· The Elite Position Play Camp will be held for players from seventh to 12th grade on June 11. The one-day camp allows players to learn and enhance specific skills related to their position. The post players will focus on positioning, low post moves, rebounding and defense, while perimeter players will get specific instruction and practice on passing, ball handling moves, shooting and defense. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

· Team Camp will welcome middle school, junior varsity and varsity teams. Lasting from June 15-18, the camp will allow coaches to pick the days and times of their games and pay per game. Please contact associate head coach Greg Brown at gbrown@athletics.ucf.edu for more information about team camp.

· The Fundamental Day Camp is available for players from second thru 12th grade. The camp will run from June 20-24 and last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. At this camp, the players will learn a wide range of offensive and defensive fundamentals and build a solid foundation for skill development and motivation.

· The Scoring and Offensive Play Camp takes place June 27-29 and will run from 1-4 p.m. Players from third grade to 12th grade will receive instruction on shooting, footwork, free throws and getting open to score.

A confirmation letter with detailed information concerning check-in times, things to bring, directions and a physical form will be sent when your application and deposit are received. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
