ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Three members of the UCF women's basketball teams were honored with spots on All-Conference USA teams, the league office today announced. Seniors D'Nay Daniels (Atlanta, Ga.) and Chelsie Wiley (Riviera Beach, Fla.) were named the all-conference second team, while junior Aisha Patrick (Rockledge, Fla.) was honored with a spot on the league's all-defensive team.

All three played a major role in the Knights' record 2010-11 campaign. UCF locked up the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming 2011 Conference USA Championship in El Paso, Texas. It marks the first time since joining the league in 2005 that the Knights have earned a bye into the quarterfinals, including in 2009 when they won the tournament title with a four-game run from the No. 5 seed. Led by Wiley, Daniels and Patrick, UCF is on an eight-game winning streak; its longest since winning nine in a row in 2003-04.

This marks the second time in her career that Wiley has been recognized with an all-conference selection after being named to the third team as a sophomore in 2009. She finished the season ranked first on the Knights and seventh in the league in scoring at 14.2 points per game. In her final regular season game, Wiley scored 19 points and connected on five three 3-pointers Thursday night against Memphis. Having not missed a free-throw in eight games, Wiley's .816 percent (80-98) shooting from the line ranks second in the league and fifth at UCF all-time for a single season. In early February she received her third career C-USA Player of the Week Award for her season-high 26-point performance against UTEP.

Wiley was also named to the 2009 C-USA All-Tournament Team as she helped the Knights to their first-ever C-USA title.

Daniels put together her best season in a Knights' uniform with career highs in points (407), points per game (14.0), field goals (159), rebounds (224), blocks (13) and field goal percentage (.511). Her 14 points a game rank only behind Wiley on UCF and are good for eighth in C-USA. Starting in all 29 games this season for the Knights, Daniels recorded a team-high seven double-doubles as a senior. Her field goal percentage ranks fourth in C-USA this season.

Patrick becomes the first player in UCF history to earn a spot on the C-USA All-Defensive Team. The Knights' junior guard has established herself as one of the league's premier defenders as she ranked third in the league in steals this season at 2.6 per game. Patrick's 74 total steals in 2010-11 are just one off her career high set as a freshman during the 2008-09 season. Her 223 rebounds are also a new career high and she ranks seventh in the league with 8.0 boards per game, the most by any guard in the conference this year.

Daniels and Wiley are joined on the second team by Marshall's Tynikki Crook, Tulane's Danielle Nunn and UTEP's Gloria Brown. Joining Patrick on the all-defensive team are Ramses Lonlack of Memphis, Roshaunda Barnes of Tulane and All-C-USA First-Team selections Courtney Taylor of Houston and Rice's Jessica Kuster.

UCF will begin play in this season's conference tournament Thursday when it takes on the winner of Wednesday's game between No. 7 UAB and No. 10 Marshall. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. EST from Memorial Gym Thursday afternoon.
