ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Fans won't want to miss this year's UKNIGHT Tour, as it will make eight stops throughout the south, beginning April 20 in Jacksonville. The all-new UKNIGHT Tour promises to be the best yet, featuring three-time Conference USA Coach of the Year George O'Leary, plus guests from other UCF varsity programs, the Golden Knights Club, UCF Alumni Association and UCF Athletics. Joining the UKNIGHT Tour in 2011 will be representation from several colleges at UCF, including the brand-new College of Medicine.
Any loyal Knight fan who brings a guest who is presently NOT a member of the Golden Knights Club or a UCF season ticket holder to tour stops will receive a special appreciation gift compliments of the GKC. If that guest should join the GKC or purchase 2011 UCF football season tickets, the referring fan can be entered into a grand prize drawing for an all-expense paid bowl trip to wherever the Knights play (excluding Hawaii).
Diehard UCF football fans won't want to miss O'Leary review the historic 2010 AutoZone Liberty Championship season, provide insider details on the upcoming 2011 campaign, talk about state of the UCF football program and much more.
Each tour stop will also feature recently released UCF football highlight videos, coverage from the team's historical AutoZone Liberty Bowl victory, autographs, prize raffles, trivia contests, cash bar and free appetizers. The events are slated to begin with a meet and greet, with the evening's program commencing shortly after.
All UKNIGHT Tour event times start at 6:00 p.m., till 8:00 p.m., with the exception of the Atlanta event, which is 6:30p.m.- 8:30p.m.
? The tour kicks off Wednesday, April 20, with a return to Jacksonville and a chance to visit with all of UCF's First Coast fans. The Jacksonville stop will be held at new UCF supporters, Cadillac of Orange Park.
? Seminole County is always a well-attended stop on the tour with this year's event taking place at the popular Irish Restaurant & Pub, Liam Fitzpatrick's in Lake Mary on Tuesday, April 26. Two days later, O'Leary and the caravan return to Tampa for the second-straight year on Thursday, April 28. One of the best stops in 2010, UCF will return to the Rusty Pelican located right on Tampa Bay, not far from the rest of the Sun Coast, St. Petersburg and Clearwater.
? The tour continues on Tuesday, May 3, with a trip to the Space Coast to visit with all of UCF's fans in Melbourne, Cocoa and Cocoa Beach. This year's Brevard County stop takes place at UCF supporter Mercedes Homes' corporate office in Melbourne.
? The tour then goes to South Florida for a two-day swing, May 10-11, in Palm Beach and Broward counties, respectively. UCF fans along the Treasure Coast are invited to O'Shea's Irish Pub on Tuesday in West Palm Beach. On Wednesday, all UCF supporters in Miami-Dade and Broward counties can join the excitement at Gatsby's in Davie.
? All UCF faithful in Central Florida are invited out to the hometown stop, on Monday, May 23, at 310 Lakeside in Downtown Orlando.
? The Tour will conclude on Wednesday, May 25, in Atlanta, with UCF's second-straight appearance at the Fox Sports Grille.
