ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With UCF and No. 23 Rice opening up league play this weekend in Houston, Knights' head coach Terry Rooney is this week's guest on Talking Conference USA Baseball. Rooney was interviewed by C-USA assistant commissioner Russ Anderson as they discussed the Knights season so far, their thoughts on the league's success in 2011 and the NCAA-regulated bats.

UCF currently owns a 16-5 record while the Owls are 15-9 and have won five-straight games. Both teams are ranked in the top 40 in RPI with the Knights at No. 37 and Rice at No. 22. A total of six of the nine teams in C-USA have an RPI of 42 or higher.
