ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team will face its third-consecutive ranked team when the Knights host No. 37 Tulsa Tuesday. First serve at the UCF Tennis Complex is 2 p.m.
Admission to the match is free.
The contest will conclude a 10-match homestand for the Knights (6-8). Tulsa, one of the top programs in Conference USA, is 11-4 this season, and has already defeated three league squads. On Friday, the Golden Hurricane upset No. 12 Michigan, 4-3, in Ann Arbor.
UCF fell 5-2 to No. 71 Iowa Sunday. Freshman Mitch Thams (Queensland, Australia) picked up a victory at No. 5 singles against the Hawkeyes. Thams has won three-straight matches.
UCF and Tulsa met last season in Oklahoma, and the Golden Hurricane, who were ranked 31st nationally at the time, held on for a 4-3 win.
After facing Tulsa, UCF will head to Houston for three matches, starting Friday against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
