ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team will continue its long homestand Friday when the Knights host No. 59 UNC-Wilmington. First serve at the UCF Tennis Complex is 2 p.m.
Admission is free and the first 50 fans to enter the tennis complex will receive a free UCF koozie.
The Knights (6-6) will be playing for the first time since they blanked Conference USA foe Tulane, 4-0, on Sunday. The highlight for the squad during the victory came at the No. 1 singles spot, where senior Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla.) picked up a huge win. Facing the 89th-ranked player in the country, Idan Mark, Schwartz posted a 7-5, 7-5 victory.
UNC-Wilmington is 8-2 this spring. The Seahawks have won four-consecutive matches. On Thursday, the team will play at USF.
After facing UNC-Wilmington, the Knights will host Iowa on Sunday morning. The matchup against the Seahawks is the eighth match of an 11-contest homestand for the Knights.
