ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After his team recorded an impressive Conference USA victory at league-leading UTEP earlier in the week, Donnie Jones will talk about his squad's strong play of late Wednesday during the Donnie Jones Radio Show at Smokey Bones in Waterford Lakes. Fans are invited to attend the show in person, starting at 7 p.m.
The program will air on the UCF Sports Network from IMG College and its flagship station, 740 The Game in Orlando. UCF's radio voice, Marc Daniels, is the show's host.
On Monday, UCF picked up a 74-68 victory at UTEP. The victory over the Miners, who were receiving votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, snapped a 15-game home winning streak for UTEP. Jones' team has won three of its last four contests, and is 17-9 overall on the season.
The Knights' next game, Saturday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena against Southern Miss, is a key conference contest. The Golden Eagles are 20-6 overall and at 9-4 in C-USA, are tied for first in the conference.
