ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With baseball in full swing across the country, UCF has announced that registration is now open for its summer camps. Prospective campers can log on to www.TerryRooneyBaseballCamps.com to access all of the details and to register today.
Open to players 5-12 years old, the Youth Baseball Day Camps offer personal and group instruction in all phases of the game of baseball. The UCF staff will provide proper instruction and drills to enhance the skill set of each camper. Individuals will be instruction in all facets of the game, highlighted by games that will be played to emphasize the techniques learned in daily instruction. The Youth Baseball Day Camps will provide a great foundation of the game for each individual. Campers are grouped according to age and skill level.
Dates for the Youth Baseball Day Camps are: June 27-July 1, July 11-15 and July 25-29.
And the Top Prospect Exposure Camp provides an excellent opportunity for high school players in grades 9-12. The participants will be instructed in four phases of the game: Hitting, pitching, catching and fielding. Campers will also enjoy the competitive games that will be played during the camp. This camp is designed for the serious baseball player - one who has the interest and desire to play collegiate and/or professional baseball.
The Top Prospect Exposure Camp will be limited to 104 players that will make up eight teams of 13 players. The camp will only accept a limited amount for each specific position, as these exact numbers will determine the structure of each team. It will structure each team using the camper's primary position chosen, so please choose this position carefully as this will be the only position you will be able to play during camp.
Dates for the Top Prospect Exposure Camp are: July 30-31 and Aug. 27-28.
