ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis team returns to action at home this Friday, hosting No. 70 Troy at 2 p.m. at the UCF Tennis Complex. Admission is free for all spectators and the first 50 fans will receive a FREE UKNIGHT t-shirt.

The Knights (2-3) won their only home match of the season Jan. 23 when they beat Georgia State, 4-3. UCF's second home match against Florida Gulf Coast, originally scheduled for Feb. 6, was postponed due to rain.

Senior Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla.) and junior Joe Delinks (Falmouth, Mass.) combined for their tenth doubles victory this year, winning No. 1 doubles against Drake on Sunday. In No. 2 singles junior Claudio Romano (Valencia, Venezuela) battled in three sets to defeat James McKie of Drake 7-6, 3-6, 6-4.

Troy (0-7) plays on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. against Stetson before facing UCF on Friday. The Trojans have faced a highly ranked opponent in all seven of their matches. Most recently, Troy lost 7-0 to No. 10 Texas A&M last Sunday. The Knights and Trojans last clashed in 2005, with Troy narrowly prevailing, 4-3.

Friday's match is the first of a nine-match homestand for the Knights, continuing on Sunday against North Florida. Admission is free to all spectators at the UCF Tennis Complex.
