ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Join the UCF rowing team on Feb. 19 at 3 p.m., as it hosts its 2011 Open House. The event is open to high school rowers interested in competing at the collegiate level. Attendees will meet coaches, academic support staff and current and future student-athletes, as well as learn about the UCF rowing program.
Saturday afternoon, the Knights' will take high school rowers on a tour of the UCF Intercollegiate Rowing Center, before hosting a meet and greet with both current and future student-athletes over lunch and snacks provided for a price of $5.00.
Following lunch, attendees will be introduced to head coach Becky Cramer, as well as assistant coaches Susan Cohen and Joel Furtek, before having the opportunity to meet members of the academic advising, compliance and life skills staffs.
Attendees will then venture to the UCF campus for a tour, while also experiencing what a typical day is like in the life of a UCF student-athlete.
After taking in dinner at one of the many restaurants on campus, students will also have an opportunity to attend the UCF softball game at 7:00 p.m., at the UCF Softball Complex.

Saturday, February 19
3:00 p.m. - Boathouse tour
3:30 p.m. - Current /future athletes "Meet & Greet" with lunch and snacks
3:30 p.m. - Coaches introduction
4:00 p.m. - Academic Advisor introduction/Life Skills Coordinator introduction/Compliance Director introduction
5:00 p.m. - Visit campus and visit one of the many restaurants on and around campus
7:00 p.m. - UCF softball game at the UCF Softball Complex
