ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Mark your calendar Knights fans for the following dates when UCF football should be front and center on your mind prior to the start of the 2011 season in September.
Tuesday February 15: 2011 season ticket and Golden Knights Club renewal information will be mailed.
Friday March 18: UCF will hold the first of 15 spring practice sessions at the Knights' practice fields in Orlando. UCF will also have open practices every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday leading up to the Spring Game so fans can watch the positional competition in person.
Saturday April 16: Your best chance to see how the 2011 Knights are shaping up when UCF holds its annual Spring Game at Bright House Networks Stadium.
April 20-May 25: The annual Knights Tour will feature twice as many stops in 2011 as George O'Leary, Donnie Jones, Keith Tribble and others travel the Sunshine State and bring UCF to you. The 2011 tour will stop in Jacksonville (April 20), Seminole County (April 26), Tampa (April 28), Melbourne (May 3), West Palm Beach (May 10), Fort Lauderdale (May 11), Downtown Orlando (May 23) and Atlanta (May 25).
July 28-30: UCF's always-popular season ticket pickup event will return to Bright House Networks Stadium.
Early August: During the first week of August, UCF will take to the field for the first time to begin the defense of the 2010 Conference USA championship.
Thursday August 18: The often sold-out UCF Countdown to Kickoff Luncheon returns to the UCF Arena. The fun-filled event is also a great way to raise money for student-athlete scholarships.
Saturday August 20: The Knights will hold their annual fall Fan Fest offering fans a chance to meet the team for a free autograph session.
Saturday September 3: The defense of UCF's C-USA championship and the drive to a third straight bowl game berth begins as the Knights face off against Charleston Southern.
