Exciting Events Planned for Upcoming Women's Basketball Home Games

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With just four home games remaining for the UCF women's basketball team, fans won't want to miss any of the upcoming exciting events planned. The Knights return to the UCF Arena floor on Thursday against UTEP at 7 p.m. Tickets for Knights home games are available at Ticketmaster.com, by visiting UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Ticket Office at (407) UCF-1000.

UCF is 8-2 at home this season and have exciting matchups and events scheduled for the four remaining games at the UCF Arena in the 2010-11 season.

• Feb. 10 vs. UTEP (7 p.m.): Go Red for Women. The first 250 fans will get a red UCF armband to support the fight against heart disease in women.

• Feb. 17 vs. Tulane (7 p.m.): Faculty and Staff Night. Free admission for all UCF staff and faculty members with the first 150 receiving a FREE UCF women's basketball t-shirt.

• Feb. 20 vs. East Carolina (2 p.m.): National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, NGWSD will provide fans an opportunity to cheer on the Knights and support this year's theme of "Play, Believe, Achieve." The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a UKnight Pink Zone t-shirt, while the $5 youth ticket also includes: food, drink, t-shirt, postgame autograph session and admission to a UCF basketball clinic.

• March 3 vs. Memphis (7 p.m.): Senior Night. Help five members of the Knights celebrate the final home game of the career as they prepare for the 2011 C-USA Tournament. Fans in attendance that night will receive a poster commemorating the 2011 senior class. The Seminole County Special Olympics basketball team will play at halftime with the Altamonte Springs Special Needs Cheerleaders also in attendance.
