ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF supporters flocked to The Venue Saturday for the second-annual Baseball Fan Fest presented by B2 Café. Approximately 700-800 fans were treated to food, fun and festivities prior to the UCF men's basketball game against UAB.

"I want to thank the entire Orlando community and every UCF fan for making this another special event," said third-year head coach Terry Rooney. "The support that we get certainly helps our team on the field, and we cannot wait to get this season started on Feb. 18."

Several prizes were handed out Saturday, including accommodations and tickets to the UCF series at Florida State in May, Blue Man Group tickets, UCF football tickets for the 2011 home opener, the chance to throw out a first pitch and gift certificates to Tailgaters and California Pizza Kitchen.

Tailgaters also gave fans that purchased season tickets during the event a $20 gift certificate.

Catered by B2 Café, the event was highlighted by the debut of the 2011 poster and schedule card as well as the new gold Nike jerseys. Rooney also introduced his 2011 Knights, who all helped raffle off the prizes.

Prior to the evening, the Knights held their second team practice earlier in the day. They are busy getting ready for Opening Day Feb. 18 against Siena, and season tickets are on sale now. There are 32 home games on tap, and there are several different ticket packages to choose from. Call the UCF Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000 or visit UCFAthletics.com for all of the details.
