ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After opening the dual-match season with a 7-0 victory over FAMU on Jan. 22, the UCF women's tennis team will head to Gainesville to take on No. 2 Florida Wednesday at 5 p.m.

The Knights (1-0) swept all doubles and singles matches against FAMU last weekend. Freshman Josephine Haraldson dropped only two games in her singles win, moving her to 8-6 on the season.

This will be Florida's first match of the dual-match season. The Gators' Allie Will along with Sofie Oyen are currently the No. 1 doubles team in the nation.

This will be the fourth year head coach Stephanie Nickitas will be facing her alma mater. Last year UF defeated UCF, 6-1. While with the Gators from 1996-99, Nickitas helped her squad claim the 1996 and 1998 NCAA titles while also serving as the NCAA doubles champion in both 1996 and 1997. Assistant coach Tony Giannoni also attended Florida.

UCF will then return home Feb. 4 to face Bethune-Cookman at 2 p.m. at the UCF Tennis Complex.
