ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's tennis squad will commence its spring season when the Knights take on Georgia State this Sunday at 12 p.m. at the UCF Tennis Complex. The entire Knights' roster will be active for the afternoon matchup and admission is free to all spectators.

The Knights open the spring season ranked No. 74 in the Campbell/ITA College Tennis Division I rankings. A strong fall season witnessed new players emerging, several bracket victories and players being honored for on and off the court performances.

UCF is 9-10 all-time against Georgia State, but the Knights have won the last seven meetings with the Panthers. The last meeting was on March 8, 2009, with UCF taking a 5-2 victory in Orlando.

Senior Blaze Schwartz (Pensacola, Fla.) enters his final spring campaign tied for seventh on the UCF all-time career wins list with 61. Freshman Matthew Gladstone (Surfside, Fla.) looks to continue his breakout season after going 8-1 this fall in singles play and attaining the Conference USA Player of the Month award in October.

Sunday's match is the first of 12 home matches to be played at the UCF Tennis Complex this spring and admission is always free.
