ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The annual UCF women's basketball Gold Rush is quickly approaching on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m., with the Knights taking on Marshall at the UCF Arena. Admission is FREE to the Gold Rush game, with the first 500 fans in attendance receiving a free 2011 Gold Rush shirt.

This season, UCF is 7-1 at home and has won its last five games at the UCF Arena. The Knights have not lost to the Thundering Herd in Orlando in three seasons and look to continue that trend on Sunday during the Gold Rush.

• Prior to the start of the game, associate head coach Greg Brown will be in the Black and Gold Club at 1:15 p.m. for a pre-game "Chalk Talk", discussing the Knights' recent win streak and the direction of the team the rest of the season. Following a brief scouting report of Marshall, Brown will open the discussion to fans and take questions regarding the Knights.

• A halftime performance from three-time national champion baton twirler Jen Marcus highlights the in-game ceremonies, while the UCF cheerleaders and dance teams will also be on hand Sunday afternoon.

• Following the game, the entire Knights team will participate in an autograph session signing their 2010-11 official team poster.

• In addition to FREE admission, fans will have access to FREE parking in Garage F, located behind the UCF Arena.

Don't miss out on another exciting UCF women's basketball game this season as affordable single-game tickets for the remaining five home games are available right now. Tickets start at $2 for youth and seniors, $5 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) UCF-1000.
