ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The spring campaign gets underway this weekend for the UCF women's tennis team when it takes part in the Florida State Quad Tournament in Tallahassee. The Knights will join host No. 14 FSU, No. 30 Iowa and No. 60 Alabama with action set to begin Saturday at 11 a.m.

Along with preparing for this weekend, head coach Stephanie Nickitas also announced that the Knights will host an exhibition match against the U.S. Junior National Team Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. That will enable the Black and Gold to get a lot of work in two days prior to the dual-match opener where it will meet Florida A&M Jan. 22 at noon at the UCF Tennis Complex.

UCF will open each day of the FSU Quad Tournament with doubles and then play one match of singles. In fall tournament play, Taylor Dubins and Josephine Haraldson paced the Knights with five singles victories, while Dubins teamed up with Andrea Yacaman to go 3-0 on the doubles court.

The Black and Gold has nine home dual-matches this year at the UCF Tennis Complex, where admission is free for all fans. UCF also hosts the Conference USA Championship April 21-23 at the Lake Cane Tennis Center.
