ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Freshman Kaitlyn Price (Jacksonville Beach, Fla.) will represent the UCF women's golf team when she competes as an individual in the Women's South Atlantic Amateur Championship, known as "The SALLY" Jan. 12-15 at the Oceanside Country Club in Ormond Beach.

The event, which features many top collegiate players, will be Price's second individual completion of the young season as she also participated last week in Harder Hall Women's Invitational in Sebring, shooting a 308 over the event's 72 holes.

Price proved to be UCF's top shooter this past fall with a 76.9 stroke average. She was UCF's top finisher at both the Windy City Collegiate and the Alamo Invitational.

UCF as a team returns to action on Jan. 29 when the Knights face Kent State in a warm-up for the team's lone home event of the year, the UCF Challenge from Feb. 13-15 at RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento.
